My Art Gallery of selected Drawings and Paintings dates back to over the last fifteen years and includes a variety of themes including Landscape and Urban subjects. They are a celebration of London Derbyshire and life! Many of the works are in Private Collections. Themes are developed through Sketchbook Drawings, Photographic and Digital processes. The use of Digital processes and a Computer comes into play at all stages of picture making and allows for experiments and greatly enhances the development of ideas and decision making. This works perfectly with traditional media such as Oil, Acrylic and Watercolour. Much of my current work centres on London and City subjects. These I see as being experimental, challenging and great fun! I regard my work as being evolutionary rather than revolutionary and I like to develop ideas slowly often with a long gestation time, often these will overlap several pictures making up a group. I value the beauty of form, colour tone and composition highly . Furthermore I love the activity of good traditional Drawing as a means of exploration, discovery and understanding.
